Shear for Life

Shear for Life is back! After 5yrs, this wonderful event in remembrance of absent friends returns SAT 1 FEB 2025 at Ewing Family Woolshed, Hindsridge Farm (1098 Hendersons Rd, Hinds). 

This charity shearing event supporting the Mid Canterbury Cancer Society & Hospice Mid Canterbury. 3000 sheep will be shorn by shearers over the age of 50 in an 8 hour period. From 8am-4pm, enjoy music, raffles, auction, food and drink, family activities and non-stop shearing.
